Applications : Diesel Particulate Filters

Particulate filters remove diesel particles (soot) from diesel exhaust, and also act as a silencer for the exhaust system. The particles (soot) are separated from the exhaust gas and stored in the robust ceramic or silicon carbide filter until they are burned up. Older designs use multiple piece, welded construction. New designs are offering construction techniques similar to those used in catalytic converter products.

Our catalytic converter machines can insert the substrate(s), size the tube, spin the ends and mark the finished product.
